Healthy teeth are more than just a pretty smile – March 4, 2021

A few hours of your time can give a child a lifetime of smiles!
Be a part of Give Kids a Smile Week and help children connect with dental care.

PCCY needs you to help kids get their teeth cleaned. We have lots of dentists who are opening their doors free of charge during Give Kids a Smile Week but we can’t get hundreds of children the care they need without your help.

Schedule appointments
Our remote call center is all set up for volunteers to schedule appointments from the comfort of your home. Fuzzy slippers are allowed. Our brief training and flexible shifts make this life-changing project super easy. Sign up here.

Translate
Feeling cooped up at home and want to put your language skills to use? Socially-distanced and safe, of course. We need Spanish, Chinese, and Vietnamese translators during the appointments.

Distribute
You can also
distribute the flyer to friends and colleagues to let more families know about getting care.

Give Kids a Smile Week connects dentists with children 1- to 18-years-old, especially children who are uninsured, under-insured, or haven’t seen a dentist in over one year. Dentists in Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties will open their offices free of charge to children to have their mouths examined, teeth cleaned, and in some cases, cavities filled, and teeth pulled.

Healthy teeth are more than just a pretty smile. Good oral hygiene is essential to overall health, improving a person’s ability to speak, taste, chew, swallow, and make facial expressions to show feelings and emotions.

Thanks in advance for your help in making this year’s Give Kids a Smile Week a great success!
