More than half a million children attend public schools in southeastern Pennsylvania. PCCY works to ensure that our region’s children arrive at school ready to learn, and attend schools that have the resources needed to provide a high quality education.
That can only be achieved through:
- fair and predictable funding
- equal opportunity
The better our schools are, the brighter the future will be for our children and our region.

Given the State’s gaping budget deficit, its antiquated system of taxation, a stubbornly stagnant job base and the growing needs of a cash-starved and under-performing public education system, this Governor made hard choices and kids came out on top.
