PCCY facilitates a number of coalitions to advance the health and welfare of children in southeastern Pennsylvania. The more allies the better! All interested stakeholders are welcome. Simply contact the appointed PCCY staff member of each initiative.
The Dream Care Coalition is working to make health insurance coverage available for every child in Pennsylvania, including children who do not have legal immigration status.
You can find a list of coalition members below. To learn more about PCCY’s efforts to expand coverage to all kids, visit our Dream Care – Cover ALL Kids Campaign page by clicking here.
If you would like to join PCCY and our partners in making health insurance for all children a reality, contact Colleen McCauley, PCCY Health Policy Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org and 215-563-5848 x33.
PCCY convenes the Children’s Vision Care Coalition comprised of a cross-section of stakeholders concerned about children’s visual health. The Coalition’s major focus has been implementation of Give Kids Sight Day, yet it does identify and take action on advancing children’s vision care policy with the goal of removing barriers to care and connecting more children to vision services. Everyone is welcome to participate in the coalition – health care providers, school personnel, child welfare agencies, health departments, etc. To get involved and for more information contact Colleen McCauley, PCCY Health Policy Director at email@example.com or call 215-563-5848 x33.
PCCY convenes the Southeast PA Children’s Health Insurance Coalition to raise awareness about children’s public health insurance policy and procedural changes, identify new barriers to enrollment or access to health care services and advocacy strategies to address them.
Coalition members include a cross-section of southeastern PA organizations and individuals that directly enroll children in public health insurance and/or that engage in advocacy and policy work related to children’s public health insurance. All are welcome.
In addition to notices of when the Coalition is meeting, we occasionally send out messages with breaking news and resources that might be important to Coalition members. To join the email list, contact Deborah Zubow at firstname.lastname@example.org or 215-563-5848 x17.
